Self-assembled molecular layer

Self-assembled molecular layer(F14H20) forms nanoscale domains with intrinsic surface potential variations, making it an effective sample for evaluating KPFM sensitivity and contrast.
Among AM-, Sideband-, and Heterodyne KPFM modes, Heterodyne KPFM provides the highest signal-to-noise ratio and the most clearly resolved potential contrast across the molecular domains.
